I think with your content many of your highest upvotes are from autovoting. I think autovoting is a good feature as it allows followers to consistently support their content creators. However, it can also create complacency as well. I think autovoting services can help resolve this by offer different voting options for different tags. For example, someone could assign 80% upvotes to your 3speak tagged posts and 15% to your appics tagged posts.

I suppose you could also create an alt account for your short content. This is a little inconvenient but a few other users have tried this.

Anyway, I am glad you took the downvote well. Downvoting is going to become a bigger part of Steem. It is better to accept it than fight it.
