@broncnuts I've been looking for something to replace the Shift card since Coinbase discontinued that service here in the US. Shame it doesn't pull straight from the BTC stash you have in the account. How long did it take to get the debit card and did it come with a fee?
Some point I have to get back down that direction and catch up with you again.
@lpfaust to be able to actually debit bitcoin directly into fiat you want the “spend.com” card. I have that one and it works good but I like the rewards and incentives from “crypto.com” the most but it is the 2-step process where you top up to USD first. @broncnutz videos coming soon
@lpfaust i just learned about the crypto.com card two days ago from @alexvanaken when he was over at my house. the card itself is alum and looks sweet. i have not got one yet but its on my short list of things to do soon.
@broncnutz I've been thinking about grabbing that one for about three months now. The catch on the perks is you need to buy and stake MCO (the crypto.com native token). Also all the perks are reimbursements received in MCO they pay out to you. Personally, I have no issue with that, but I thought I'd disclose it to you just to make you aware of how it works.
TBH, I'm thinking of grabbing one later this year as well.
@alexvanaken I was following the crypto.com developments (and token) for a bit now, and I'd considered grabbing one but have not yet. I agree the perks are sweet, but you have to grab some MCO to stake and get the rewards (which are all payable to you in MCO). Have you grabbed a crypto.com card?
As I was saying to @broncnutz, I have to get down to Colorado Springs to catch up with you guys sometime. I'm hoping things are good with you and the family and I hope to see you guys sometime this year.
Hey @lpfaust yeah we should definitely do another meetup soon!! I’ve been good and hope the same for you!
And yeah I have the “ruby” crypto.com card (love it, it’s my every day spender) and also the “simple” spend.com card. I’m going to shamelessly plug my affiliate codes below.

Spend.com: ZE3VDB
the card was in my mailbox in about 7 days and there was no fee. the card was "activated" by scanning a bar code it came with directly inside the app. the app works awesome man. when they ran my card for lunch it came through to my acct within seconds. its great if you want to just buy a quick btc dip or sell a quick rise. i like it a lot to tell ya the truth.
yea.....what he said! lol
It's your conscience...lol
