Fruit flies have always been a source of annoyance around kitchens and household composters.
What better way to deal with those pesky flies than a chameleon?
Pictured below is a young veiled chameleon feeding on a fruit fly larva.

Fun fact: Chameleons change colors by manipulating the space between the nanocrystals on their skin. This changes the way light is reflected off of the nanocrystals, creating longer wavelengths of light, which change the color of its skin.
