... the Baltimore Comic Con! I’ve been busy with the day job, social engagements, a bit under the weather... and a bit burnt out! I have worked a bit on an online storefront and planning out future issues of “I Thought It Would Be Zombies...”, but tonight I sat down and just did some drawing! I was inspired by a photo posted by my friend Julie, (which she tagged me in and gave a nod to my plant based comic persona of her!) She had shrouded herself in “her people”, half masked by a collection of ferns and leaves. As soon as I saw it, I knew I had to make a rendition! I don’t know exactly what I’ll use it for, but I’m sure it’ll find a home in issue #2 as a pinup or variant cover, and I do want to branch out into selling prints at my next convention. (Did you catch the pun? Branch out... I crack myself up...) Lots more to do, but I look forward to showing the finished piece; and this seemed like a fitting work in progress to test out the latest updates to the APPICS app!
