Facebook has suspended the supply of software for the pre-installation of the company's applications -Facebook, Instagram and Whatsapp- on Huawei devices due to the US government's veto on the Chinese brand, sources from the sector confirmed to Efe.
Mobile phones that will not have these applications pre-installed will be the ones manufactured from now on, although users will be able to continue downloading them on Google Play "without any problem", Huawei sources have indicated.
However, the question is what will happen when Huawei ceases to have access to the Google mobile app store in the event that the veto of the US executive is applied to the Chinese firm.
The Government of Donald Trump announced on May 20 a transitory period of three months that temporarily lifted the veto on Huawei and its affiliates to prepare a transition without the presence of the Chinese technological giant.
