Steem Gamblers Association: An Epic Apology

in #apology5 years ago

Dear Gamblers

User account @epicdice is demanding an apology 😠 because after a few horrendous and financially exhaustive losing streaks 🤮 @crypticat commented in the Epicdice discord on May 24, 2019 that "epicdice is rigged, there are some funny losing streaks I've seen a few people complain about" 😰

I (Crypticat) publically apologize to user account @epicdice for saying the game is rigged. @epicdice recently provided data here which shows all the transactions done on epicdice.io. There appear to be no shenanigans with the data 🧐

One cannot, however, apologize for defaming an unregistered brand. If an entity is anonymous, has no business license, no trademark (copyright) and is not identifying a jurisdiction which they are operating in, it can not possibly be defamed; one cannot be accused with libel against an illegal business.

Your Accusation is Groundless

After an exhausting search, 😫 I could not find the registered brand name, Epicdice. How can one apologize to an unregistered brand and an unidentified individual for defamation and/or libel?

What Authority? How can you Deny my Presence? 🙈

I would like to comment on the attitude of @blocksensei who is associated with Epicdice. @blocksensei provides very rude and arrogant customer service. 😲 He told me to get an education and said @fairbet is a joke. @fairbet got @epicdice to provide gambling records for the Gamblers!

Threatening a flag? That's poor etiquette and not someone I, or anyone wants to be associated with. @crypticat will begin liquidating 4,000,000 EPC tokens because the user is no longer a customer and may need to defend himself from being flagged/bullied.

Sort:

The brave new world of Blockchain, where anonymous entities request apologies for defamation of their hidden identity.

I'm happy to see that they provided the data to back up their claims. I just don't understand the rudeness now a days.

You want my business? Don't be a dick!

There are a lot of people and services that I no longer interact with. Some simply because I saw an unnecessary and or rude comment made to a CUSTOMER and not even directed to me.

FYI for anyone trying to sell a service, get viewers to your post or any other "thing" that requires interaction with other HUMANS.

There will SOON be lots of competition for customers (eyeballs) to choose from. So if you're going to be a dick you are going to lose out. We will take our business elsewhere.

Just saying, I don't have time for that crap.

Their reaction was pathetic and so are their odds. Cupz takes 1%, epic dice takes 2% of ones bets in the long run. They turned a neutral rating into a warning, you may be downvoted and insulted if you challenge their supreme authority over a non-existent brand and a dodgy business run by anonymous criminals.
I'll gamble where I'm surrounded by nice people thank you very much.

Even a dodgy business run by anonymous criminals is going to lose "customers" if they continue to show everyone they are dicks too. @blockheadsei may be anonymous but @EpicDice is not. That IS the place I'm assuming he wants me to spend my money?

You see where I'm going here right?

Vote with your wallet.

I agree, throughout the whole of life "Don't be a dick"

I wanted to thank you for this.

@fairbet got @epicdice to provide gambling records for the Gamblers!

I hope to see more assistance for (insert need here) in the future. Services like @fairbet could be very helpful for the community.

Fairbet was created for the gamblers and the community, not to protect the house but to regulate it.

Unfortunately, Epicdice and team have a superiority complex and prefer to attack rather than cooperate with anyone who attempts to regulate them and their criminal activity denying our authority as if they have the moral high ground. They could have just provided the information or ignored us instead of being smug about it. We have nothing to lose by avoiding unlicensed gaming websites like Epicdice.io and will collectively save a lot of Steem staying away.

Haha, I really like their style. Apologize bitch! @epicdice is still awesome. As long as you honor and respect the dice it doesn't matter how you treat others. Take no prisoners, make no friends when you are rolling. This is an online casino.

Act like that and you'll be rolling alone. Ever been to some of the places in old Vegas? Not so welcomingor profitable.

Jesus... This isn't a good way to deal with folks.. <_<

Hopwfully ED learns the subtle art of customer service.

We don't need no education
We don't need no thought control
