Apollo50th coming up, SpaceX Starship Hover test, India to the Moon, former NASA Astronaut to lead Artemis

Hey there! Long time no post - looking to start with the Apollo11 50th anniversary coming up. Enjoy!

This last week was packed full of space! I got to attend a public conversation at the Boston Public Library where Robert Stone and Alan Andres spoke about 'Chasing the Moon' and everything Apollo as the 50th is coming up this week July 16-20th. Lots of NASA centers to celebrate at, see links below for more.

In Orbital News, we go over SpaceX's Starhopper test on Tuesday, LightSail2, Hayabusa2, India's Moon mission launch (day episode was released), and we cover the change at NASA for leadership of the Human Exploration and Operations division. Something that will definitely have an effect on the success of the Artemis mission in 2024. Hopefully this former astronaut returning from the private sector will bring the government back what it needs to accomplish the goal in 5 years.

Have a great week! Don't forget to catch the live broadcast of the Apollo 11 mission on July 20th thanks to NASA!
