You got a great bloodline! Nice to hear that your grand father was participated to WWI and WWII@kiwiscanfly,

Cheers~

Talk about precious metals.....there could be none more precious.

Thank you for your continued support of SteemSilverGold

How fantastic that you have them, and that they are out on display. :)

When I was younger I never thought about taking photos of any medals that had been handed down in the family, and now they are with another branch so I cannot get hold of them to document.

Today is such an important date to commemorate.

Thanks, yeah to think of all those kiwis and what they must have faced on a daily basis on the war field is truly inspiring

That's going back a ways. Grandpa led a very full life.

very busy boy he was - he was super busy back in NZ as well

Going to have to fill us in on some of his adventures.

Respect to Grandfather...great work

yeah bro he deserves lots of respect :)

Did you take them for their annual airing today?
remember to wear them on your Right breast to show you are honouring somebody and they are not your own.

nah i was tucked up in bed..

Welcome.. @kiwiscanfly... Have a nice weekend...

Those medals are such amazing reminders of what a tough, brave and couragous man your grand father must habe been. Have you thought to wear them on an Anzac day parade? Im sure it would make your grand father proud. Where ever he is.

So proud of you. Great achievement. keep it up.

My heart felt respect for your grandfather. He is the proud of your nation and as a world war warrior I also proud of him. The medals is the symbolism of his great sacrifice.

It was such a small thing, but seeing the medals gave me big smiles. I quite loved seeing them. As a migrant family, no medals here, so they are always fascinating to me. I love old things and these are treasures. :)

He sure was a great soldier buddy :)

Thanks for sharing them.

You do have reasons to be proud my man.
