I'm afraid my title is rather misleading.
I was not hypnotized, however I am an advocate for hypnosis so I will happily share this article that popped up on my feed.
I got hypnotized over Skype and it worked
In the article the author talks about her own issues with anxiety and how hypnosis helped, however there are a myriad of other applications for hypnosis, including helping with the pain of cancer, which the author also mentions, and dealing with depression and even recovery from surgery.
