Mainstream music is produced to be annoyingly catchy, these producers aren't stupid. The goal is money, nothing else matters and they will produce anything that gets stuck in your head no matter how poor the content is. We are constantly bombard with terrible music on the radio with awful messages. Best thing we can do is to just not listen to this garbage and question it.
