It has been quite sometime since I was able to draw a fanart. I didn't have to think of the character to draw because I've been meaning to draw this character from One Piece for quite a while now. Yes, I've drawn a number of One Piece characters but they're mostly from the "Mugiwara Pirates", but this time it's different.

Last Sunday, I watched the latest episode of One Piece and I felt excited and hurt at the same time. I'm excited for the upcoming "action" that the Luffy and some of the crew has to offer against Big Mom's pirates. Hurt because of what's happening to Sanji and his sister Reiju. Reiju Vinsmoke is Sanji's elder sister. Well, Sanji has been disowned by his family for being a "failure", however Reiju was there for him. It pains me to watch how Reiju is willing to sacrifice even her own life for his brother's freedom and happiness.

And because of that, I finalized my decision to draw a fanart of Reiju Vinsmoke. I really wanted to draw her ever since "Sanji Arc". It's been a while, so please bear with me. I hope you enjoy the fanart, as well as the process.

Let me share the drawing process:

First, I tried to sketch using my Gripmatic Faber-Castell 0.5 mechanical pencil. I started with the facial features, the whole head, half body and some details.

I really love drawing the eye and of course, the swirly eyebrows. It runs in the "Vinsmoke genes".

*Talk about messy... I need to improve in order not to make messy sketches. T_T

Sexy Reiju is sexyyy~

Since I'm done with sketching, I took my Artline 0.3 pen and started inking. Similarly, I also inked the facial features first, the head, the body and small details. Here's how it looked...^^

As you have noticed, I draw really messily. Obviously, I need a good eraser. :) And so, before moving on with the colors, I had to erase the primary sketch thoroughly.

Fair enough... I hope.. lol

Next up, coloring! This is my most favorite part in drawing something. I'm not good at it, but it's like I'm giving life to the drawing. For this, I used two kinds of colored pencils. One is Faber-Castell watercolor pencils and the other one is Titus classic colored pencils.

Loving her blue eye... <3

Pink hair! Always wanted to have that color, but I doubt it suits me... lol

I love this shade of blue. Reminds me of my high school uniform.. haha xD

This is one crazy outfit, don't you think? Love the pink and yellow combination. It's TegoMasu colors!

Finally done with the colors! That was lotsa fun! ^^

Last step, of course, would be attaching my steemit username and signature. I also affixed the date today. I should have done this in my other drawings to keep track of it.. xD I'll try to do it from now on.

I just feel so happy to draw a fanart again. It's been a while since I did one. This is actually my first fanart for this year. I'll do my best to improve and share more fanarts with you this year! I hope you enjoyed this post as much as I enjoyed making it!
