Nicr article, i love cooking shows because i love food and also recreating recipes. Cooking is meditative and so i enjoy someone doing that on tv and absolutely enjoying it. I haven't seen a lot of anime, the only one i saw was naruto and i remember him eating ramen bowls. Food is such a important part of most cultures and specially when the cuisines have been accepted world over. Social gatherings, conversations, all happen around food, which was the idea to that led to the first restaurant in western europe at least. Great post!

Thank you ! I agree there is a certain zen in cooking and it also relaxes me when I am doing prep work. You just zone everything out and just prepare the food.
Once you see people enjoy the food that you prepared you can't help but smile.
Food is an integral part of the culture of nations and whenever I travel I really make it a point to eat like a local. To experience their life through their stomach.
