I loved the first half of the show. All of that inner turmoil between Arima and his mom, and how he was being brought out of his shell by Kaori. I even enjoyed watching the story of Arima's rivals.
The second half was an entirely different anime though, and one that I couldn't accept in my heart. It became way too somber and it shunted one of the best female characters in anime into the sidelines forever.
I just wanted to them to play piano and violin together forever the end. Then again, no one else I've talked to has any problem with the second half, so I probably just wasn't the right person for the show.
I know what you mean. I myself enjoyed the first part of the anime and want it to stay that way. :) But I do think that the sudden shift was necessary. It's what made this anime more popular. You won't get "the feels" if they wont go in that direction.
I really liked the scene on the part of young kaouri watching the first show of young koushei, looks very natural to me.
one of the best anime with a good storyline, I think if caori will survive and they will do a great collaboration for the end of the story, I'm wrong. the end of this anime story, making her list into the saddest anime category.
I hope this anime will get second season, I want to know :
how the hard work of kaori in transforming an Arima.
Ha! I like that scene too. Tsubaki seating near Kaori makes it more perfect. :)
As much as I want the series to have a second season (and see how Arima and Tsubakis relationship went), I am perfectly fine the way it was concluded. It's a perfect ending with regards to it's title: "Your Lie in April" XD
The ending is very good story, it's like a summary from episode 1 to the end. I also got a little motivation from Kaori "A strange violinist". Playing the violin with his own understanding without regard to the rules in music XD, sometimes it's not too bad, even the audience loves it. (I wanna be a freaky steemians hahah)
I also wonder, if his second season aired, will the feels as the best anime will be lost,?

Oh you play the violin? That's pretty cool :)
Not really sure as "what you feel" about an anime is subjective. One thing is for sure though, many people would still watch it. Myself included :)
this anime was very good, there are very few animes of music that are not from idosl, I recommend you Nodame Cantabile or Beck
Hey! Thanks for the recommendation. I have heard of Nodame Cantabile before but not Beck. Guess I'll have to start with NC :)
