Clannad - After Story is an anime sequel and evolution of her predecessor Clannad. Produced by the same co-worker and studio, Kyoto Animation, Clannad - After Story has successfully completed the Clannad Bow and successfully pulled a happy and sad tear from the new and old fans of Clannad. The anime was released in Japan and ran from October 3, 2008 to March 26, 2009. This second season was the story of the end of the first season, but After Story continued the arc up to seven years into the future.
Finally, Tomoya and Nagisa decide to stay and get married, with Tomoya working and Nagisa taking care of the house. Not long after that. Nagisa is pregnant. Of course, Tomoya is not happy when he's going to be a father. However, on the eve of their son's birthday, the person they named Ushio, Nagisa year after year, appears to have had a fever and healed for a long time. Nagisa died after giving birth to Ushio, and Tomoya could not bear the pain of Nagisa's departure from life. Five years later, Tomoya is told that there is no direction of life and Ushio leaves his parents, Akio and Sanae Furukawa, Nagisa's parents. Sanae planned to reunite the child with her father by planning a vacation (which she said all the family members would come to) was just Tomoya and Ushio left. From here, fate surrounds Tomoya and keeps his life going forward, which will be a vicious reversal and make Tomoya repeat his entire life to fate to choose a fight. Live better on Tomoya. Tomoya had to collect the "light" to recognize the magic he wanted, to keep Nagisa alive. Live and be happy like any other family.
Clannad - After Story is an anime series that has a lot of significance, although it is sometimes implicitly implied. There is joy, sadness, rejection, injustice and the most influential: a cold, cruel and merciless fate. But that is life, and Tomoya's life is an example where the miracle of friendship and compassion will help us to achieve a better future. Clannad - After Story is the masterpiece of the anime drama of past, present and future.
I disagree. The ending was a giant cop out, one of the worst endings in recent anime. It undid all the good that the show was doing. The family themes are still good, but the themes are stuck in an average-at-best show.
I think, when our feelings are played therein lies the success of an anime
But since the ending undid the entire second half of the season it's a bit difficult to feel emotions other than disappointment.
agree, me too
