Asobi and Chio are my priority when watching shows this season so those ratings are cool for me.
I probably should have to start watching Island again, seems like it went uphill from where I took off.
Planet with is what I would call the hidden gem of this season, pretty unique if I were to describe it and builds up to some of the best moments and battles. The mechas are also one that deviates from the normal design just like TTGL so I might be biased about it since I can see the latter's flair and grit on this one.
And glad that I am not the only one that feels that way about Angels of Death, I deferred watching it because it got me asking myself every episode I've watched, "WTF? Why is this girl so choosy when she wants to die?" and the dumbness of the judges doesn't help the show's case either, like the girl that is safely sitting inside a protected room with control to a lot of firearms that went out of the room so that she could ...step the life out of Zack. Maybe this should have remained as a game after all.
Btw that's a lot of shows, did you seriously watch all of these? Anyway it is an overall good summary/ review for this season's chart, gratz on completing it :)

Late comment, but TTGL doesn't really deviate from normal designs. The creator was pretty clear about its influences. If you watch some Zambot 3, and Go Nagai mecha shows, you can clearly see where the design choices come from :)
Yeah, I've watched all of them :P, Incredible multitasking skills allow me to play games and watch anime at the same time... I once played two games at the same time but I'm nowhere near Keima's level yet ;)
Planet With is actually quite good in several areas and you're right, most of my friends didn't watch it or don't plan on watching it, it's seriously underrated, I gave it it's 7.5 score because it's a relative score and it's got a ton of strong competitors but the show itself starts slowly and somewhat confusing but becomes more interesting as time passes, plus as you said, the Mechas are original and cool! I didn't think about TTGL until you mentioned it but I can certainly see some common points yes, specially on the final episodes 5 years later when they're adults.
I went against popular opinion on Angels of Death... most sites gave it a good review and several friends of mine and video reviews gave it good scores but honestly, in an objective way it just doesn't make it. According to the tags I had to compare it with Higurashi no Naku koro ni and it doesn't even reach the heel of it.
I honestly tried to avoid spoilers with Island because as you probably remember the starting episodes aren't exactly good, I think I was bored out of my skull for the first 4 or 5 episodes and was watching it because, meh, I hadn't anything else to watch. Then about episode 6 they start to pick up the slack and start connecting the dots about the legend of the island, about Setsuna and Rinne, about how Setsuna came from the future and so forth... the fact that they change the opening song at episode 8 in a 12-episodes anime probably meant a lot to me too, these small details can really mean a lot.
BTW, I managed to get Nichijou and I'm watching it, can't say it's the most funny anime I've seen in my life but it's certainly funny. Right from episode 0 it's joke after joke so thanks for the rec. Now I need to get To aru Majutsu Index to prepare myself for season 3.
Reaching Keima's level will literally drain your life so I guess you should pass on that haha
Glad you liked it, and yes, the hype for the indiscriminate original one punch man and advocate of equality is real! Science clashing against magic will always give me the chills.
