When I was a child, I thought that fur coats are made from the fur of animals, who died because of illness or old age. But as it turned out it doesn't happen in this way. First I learned that animals are grown exactly for getting their fur, of corse this fact made me upset. But then I learned that they are still alive when being ripped off, because it somehow helps save the best conditions of fur, I did not even try to find out more about it, because I can not read it.
Yes - I do not bring all the homeless cats to my home, I do not build bird feeders, and now I do not even have a pet. Actually I don't help animals anyhow. But previously I Β brought homeless dog to home and my mother brought a homeless cat as well (I also do not understand buying cats and dogs for a few thousand dollars, Β it this is another topic). But nevertheless I can not bear the fact that animals are tortured.
And yes - for fur manufacturer - it's a money, and as we know - the money has no smell. But why we should wear it? Why we need to pay a crazy money for wearing corpses of animals?
IMHO human can kill an animal if he need it for surviving. For example we need meat as a food and people who lives in really cold places (like Siberia) just need a fur! But why we raise and then kill animals only Β I'm talking for decorative fur coats that do not warm anyone physically!
I just can't understand why we admire people in fur? Why we think it is so cool? So fashionable?Β
And finally, what I want to offer at all. Demand creates supply. So, if there is no demand, then the fur business will die. Of course I only am a drop in the ocean, but if everyone will think about it and stop buying fur, then gradually the business will become not recoupment . The suffering of animals, even grown specially for this, do not worth a photo in the Instagram!Β
Thank you for sharing! Fur coats are sick, especially fur farms. I can't believe they even keep them alive!! The need for meat in diet i think is also limited to northern climates where adequate fruits and vegetables, grains are not available at certain times of the year, people thrive without it. Dairy is not good either.

If the animal died of natural causes or was sick then by all means use that fur for clothing. There are tons of alternative materials these days and hunting an animal for its fur is cruel and disgusting.
Exactly, but furthemore nobody hunting animals for fur, because their fur will be demaged so not good for coats. People a raising animals in bad conditions and then just take off their skin.
Unfortunately for luxury and comfort, the man put a whole species in danger, it is sad .
