These are not the photos that I was going for.
While they may not have been what I was aiming for, I was still impressed by the results. Here are a few of the edited one that I'll show you first.
THE ORIGINAL PLAN
Originally, I was trying to get a good photo of these geese down by the pond. Unfortunately, I scared the geese and they left the pond before I got any shots. I tried to make the best of it by taking some photos of them in the field.
BONUS
Thankfully, they went into a field near some horses. The horses got spooked and I got a few of them running, which turned out pretty well. Here are a few more.

Perfect pictures.
Great choice for photo subjects. The Geese are all white which makes a great contrast to whats out there this time of year without snow cover. The hoses have great color variation and contrast. Even though you are dealing with pastels, some of them faded for colors it is a very polychromatic when contrasted with white.
I love birding and geese qualify.

hehehe funny it sounds athletic man you are afraid of swans but that is the usual thing. For a photographer who is in fear but the result is quite satisfying consumers

Beautiful horses and beautiful horses, what could go wrong? I think what is visually surprising is seeing domesticated ducks wandering about in an open field like that.

I had a friend once who had a duck who was content living in a wading pool in his yard, he said the duck never seemed interested in flying off somewhere to be with or finding other ducks.

If that's not what you were going for, what were you going for, because these are great! Like you could win a contest with some of them. That kind of great. At least you know the new camera is going to do what you need it to do. Now you just need to train the geese. ;)

Some of the best photos are ones you sometimes don't intend to take. Over the summer I was trying to figure out some settings and accidentally took this photo. Accidental art can be really cool.

Got some good shots. Animals are hard to photograph, always moving. My cats move at the wrong times. I guess I have to learn how to video.

My parents use to have a big white goose on their farm that would chase my ex-wife. A few years after that I figured out the goose was right, so I chased her off too.

I love every single one of these pics. Takes me back to my childhood... on our goose farm. Those are some BEAUTIFUL Embden Geese. The horses are breath taking. Loved the pics!
Some of my best videos in my case are unintentional, When I go riding on my ATV there almost isnt a moment myself or a buddy doesn't have their camera on, I remember when I forgot to record and totally flipped my ATV over in water and had to get a few guys lift it off me while I held my head just over the water, God I wish i had my camera on. That would've been a cool video to look back on!
On a side note, horses look like such a majestic creature. I love it.
