Blue Tailed Skink

I found this buddy on some rocks but I missed getting a photo of him there. He was very quick and he ran under a few other rocks so I thought I lost him but eventually I found him again. I had to put him in a red Solo cup so he wouldn’t run away. This little buddy is a Blue Tailed Skink. I find them quite often and I can easily identify them from a distance by seeing their bright blue tails and yellow stripes across their whole body. I can tell this one is entering adulthood because the brightness of his tail is just starting to fade and he is about five inches long.
