1. The career is alone for men.
Always I have listened that the veterinary medicine is alone for man… as this profession studies a big number of species, of which some are of big size, many times this believes and until even think that the study it would be more difficult, would depend on the strength and that for a woman would be much more difficult. But this, As I have experienced in the course of my career; that to study said profession only needs dedication and time, as the factor forces will not prevent to study it.
2. Only they see perritos and kittens.
It is necessary to take in account that veterinary studies to the distinct animal species and no alone dogs and cats. Said profession extends to a variety of branches, that go from small animals, until bovine and wild animals.
3. They do not compare the human medicine, with the veterinary medicine.
The veterinary medicine is subestimada in a lot of occasions, this without knowing that the human medicine depends a lot of the veterinary, regarding the feeding of the human beings, since it studies in great depth to living beings that will be ingeridos by the people, In a lot of occasions these beings present illnesses that if they are not treated by a veterinary, could affect our society in distinct fields. An example of this is the meat ingerida by the people, without mattering species, that is to say, birds, bovine and swine (chicken, cow and pigs, the most consumed meats) that they have to be examined By the veterinary doctors, to know if this is bearer of illnesses that can trasmitirse to the people. That's why it has to him give big importance to this profession, Since it commissions to look after the health or health of the distinct animals that can infect direct or indirectly to our society.
The Reality of Veterinary Medicine.
Study veterinary medicine has a level of difficulty high, since like a medicine, studies the distinct anatomies of the species, but this also will depend of the time and the dedication that give him to the study of the profession, That's why my council for those people that want to study this career, is that they do not give him importance to these myths that create surroundings to the veterinary medicine, as with dedication and commitment, is possible to study it.
