Howdy Sir Janson, June and July is winter here. August is the windy month and the 1st of September is Spring Day!
Your months may be different, but I think that we have similar weather.
Blessings!
Oh! I forgot to mention that where we come from up north has summer rains and down here in the Cape it's winter rains. A big difference to get used to!

Howdy again sir papilloncharity! Do you have family back in the North and do you go to visit the North?
How many miles is it?

I have a cousin that lives way up north and the distance is 17 hours by car.
1712 kilometers.
Then a cousin in the North West distance 18.45 hours by car.
1555.8kms.
And my children in Gauteng distance 16.45 hours by car.
1397.6kms

wow! That's the distance from our place here to where we moved from Ohio and Mrs. J still has family there that she is getting ready to fly back and visit, that's a long way. Do you ever get to see the kids and how many do you have?

I have three own children, two girls and a boy (adults) and a step daughter (adult) Sir @janton.
And 6 grand children.
We have not seen them since relocating down here, but we will soon make a plan.

Howdy today sir papilloncharity! that's wonderful. Well, the Cape is much nicer than the rest of South Africa isn't it, generally speaking? Maybe they will move to you.
