New member of the family - Millie

I simply must introduce you to the new member of my family. Meet “Millie”, short for “Mildred” because my girlfriend insisted on an old lady name.

Here she is immediately upon our picking her up at the airport. She was very timid and unsure at first.

She’s a Merle patterned “moyenne” or medium poodle. She’s the first dog my girlfriend and I have owned together. And she is absolutely the sweetest thing, a lovely calming presence arriving in our lives in the midst of a move to a new home. Now we have learning to do about teaching her where to pee, but I know we will figure it out. She seems smart and attentive even if we are not making much sense to her yet. And she is curious and loves to follow us around and see what we are doing as we organize our new home. We are in love with her already.

We are very happy with her and with our new home.
