MY NACKED NECK ROOSTER ONLY 2 AND HALF WEEKS OLD.

I bought these Nacked Neck Roosters or Transylvanian Nacked Neck or what we called them in the Caribbean King Cock to breed or line with my other hens I have in my yard.

So here is why I purchased these cockies, done some research and found it was largely developed in Germany and the name" Turken" arose from the mistaken idea that the bird was a hybrid of a chicken and domestic turkey. But the trait for a naked neck rooster is a dominant one controlled by one gene and is fairly easy to introduce into other breeds.

These nacked neck chickens are very resilient and which makes it one of the best bird breeds to withstand anything from harsh summers and if you are living anywhere else in the world it can take the blustery winter nights, but you as the owner will have to make sure they stay warm.
These winged birds have trouble flying so when I let them go in the yard I would have no problem of them flying over the fence into someone else property. Which makes it easy to manage these backyard birds

Even though they have fewer feathers than any other chicken breed and they look like they are in a permanent state of undress they are still able to exist comfortably in almost any climate and lay over 120 eggs per year which is why I bought these few and have plans to get even more.
