Great post. I had the experience of freediving with Sharks on the North Shore of Oahu Hawaii with a company called One Ocean Diving. They do a lot of research and shark conservation. We swam with about 40 Galapagos and Sand Bar sharks and for the most part they were very mellow just cruising around. But at one point a huge bait ball of smaller fish swam up from deep and surround us and the sharks got all excited. That's when I lost a leg.... JK but it was pretty intense and just showed even when they are in attack mode they were not interested in attacking humans.
