A glimpse of the finches or often called the cucak kutilang in scientific language called Pycnonotus aurigaster.
The bird of kutilang is a bird that has a singing sound that sounds unique and diverse. Birds kutilang is almost often found in the open, such as in timber trees, shrubs, gardens, curbside and in the yard.
Many people keep this finches because of the unique sounds of chirping and the finches can also be included in the race with other finches.
Because in that race, the finches will be pitted against the most frequent and most audible sounds.
Usually the finches are fed with fruits, such as papaya and bananas. In addition to fruits, this finches also eat grasshoppers, insects, and caterpillars.
Sekilas tentang burung kutilang atau sering di sebut juga dengan nama cucak kutilang yang dalam bahasa ilmiah disebut Pycnonotus aurigaster.
Burung kutilang adalah burung yang mempunyai suara kicauan yang terdengar unik dan beragam. Burung kutilang ini hampir kerap di jumpai di tempat terbuka, seperti di pohon-pohon kayu, semak belukar, kebun, tepi jalan dan di pekarangan halaman rumah.
Banyak orang yang memelihara burung kutilang ini karena suara kicauan yang terdengar unik serta burung kutilang ini juga bisa untuk di ikutkan dalam perlombaan dengan burung kutilang yang lain.
Karena dalam perlombaan tersebut, burung kutilang akan diadu suara yang paling sering keluar dan paling terdengar nyaring.
Biasanya burung kutilang di beri makan buah-buahan, seperti pepaya dan pisang. Selain buah-buahan, burung kutilang ini juga memakan belalang, serangga, dan ulat.
