In Iran cats are everywhere, unlike dogs which are considered to be dirty animals by islamic culture. Strangely enough, most cats avoid contact with humans, being wary and very careful. Even this chill guy run away from me when I approached him. Maybe Iranians mistreat them?

I didn't know what dogs are considered to be dirty animals by islamic culture. Now, the big advantage of cats is that they clean your house of rodents. Is that the advantage Iranians see? and as such, they respect that dirty work they must do and do not like to touch them?...Greetings @nameless-berk

I watched a film about white cats in eastern countries. There is a breed that is many centuries old. Just forgot how nazyvaia.
These cats are very popular in Turkey. And buy a simple man this breed is very difficult. Export abroad is also prohibited.
