These little lobster like crustaceans are called Squat Lobsters. Although there are hundreds of different kinds of Squat Lobsters in the seas, almost all of them live in the deep deep sea and we never see them. This is one on of the only type human will ever see as they tend to swim in swarms and not in the deep depths of the ocean. They are only found in on particular spot off of New Zealand and the Southern tip of South America. They are about two-three inches in length.

It was actually just a still taken from my Garmin Ultra Verb 30 video. I have a pretty cool video of these little guys swimming around.
