Love cats as indoor pets. As outdoor animals they are non-native predators killing birds, mammals and other native wildlife. They even are a major cause of death in marine mammals because of the Toxoplasmosis in their feces. Keep your cats indoors.
...this is useful information,... but not only cats are hunting for birds :((
