Cheetah Mother and her two youngsters on the hunt in Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park, South Africa..
It is with great joy that I can share such an amazing sighting. And this is one of my most treasured ones. This was an absolute once in a lifetime experience and many people just dream of such a thing.
Nature is truly ruthless and if you are faint of heart this is a WARNING, this is not for easily upset people. Please rather click away here.
For those of you left I hope you enjoy!
In this first photo the Mother hunts down the young Springbok and then leave the young buck to the two youngsters to groom their hunting skills.
This happened relatively quick. It was over in about 10 minutes.
Here she has passed the reins over to her youngsters for some practice.
Three Days later we watched the same event, but this time they hunted two newborns.
This is the cycle of life and we can appreciate it for that.
The mother took the one down in no time and then left the youngsters to hunt the second Springbok.
It took them almost 50 min before they eventually succeeded in killing the youngster.
You can just see it's claw on its back. The cheetah always tries to trip up its prey and would then go for the neck.
Very ruthless but without this practice they will die without t heir mother, when she eventually leaves them.
At this point all of them where extremity fatigued.
Thank you very Much for watching and please come again!

Awesome thanks. I am glad my work is appreciated here.
Phenomenal photos! The cubs look so playful, even as the hunt is quite vicious.
