In Spring 2018 i visited the Lake Neusiedler in eastern Austria for some wildlife photography. This was probably one of my trips with the most pictures, even when i was not so experienced by the time. But we really had so much luck and took several hundred nice pictures of birds and water birds at the lake. One series of pictures was this one of the little egret. I love this beautiful bird and it is walking so proud in the shallow water for finding some food or fish in the shallow water.

Somehow these birds can't help but look so graceful... lovely shots! :)
Yes the little egret is one of the "kings". They look especially graceful when they walk in the shallow water and are not bothered by anything but looking for food.
Such self-confidence... :) they know they look good! Lol...
Love the wing feathers in the last shot!
