Redwood National Park is home to the fascinating (to me) Banana Slug. I enjoyed watching their slow movement along the fallen logs and underbrush of the forest floor. And they always seemed willing to pose for a photo. Shot with my Canon powershot.

Nice shot! Redwood is on my bucket list of places to get to.
Thanks! I highly recommend a visit to Redwood. Every hike took my breath away. If you're able, I'd walk through the forest portions as well as along the beaches. The contrast is wonderful.
We really want to get down into Redwood, and those banana slugs are plastered everywhere in BC!
Nice! I've been to Vancouver but never really had a chance to explore all that BC has to offer. One day I'll make it back there. Yeah, Redwood, absolutely beautiful.
Cool shot! Are they willing to pose or just move to slowly to escape the capture of your lens? hehe. Upvoted!
Thanks for the upvote!

Banana slugs are in my area too! Such fascinating creatures...
Yeah, never got tired of seeing them!
I love the 'in your face' perspective. Not that slugs really have a face . . .
Haha! I think there's a bit of a face there....
