It really is amazing. especially the organization and the complexity. It's an astounding feat and makes it hard to say "they are just dumb bugs."
Intelligence work in many ways.
Animals dont need our kind of intelligence to survive in the way that is best for them.
So in many ways we are more intelligent then them.
But in many other way they are more intelligent then us for the same reason. Probably even most insects are in some ways.
