Spiders never chew their food, spiders drink their food. The spider has a filter that prevents the entry of solid foods. So they need to digest food outside their bodies. This can be done in 2 ways, including:
Injecting digestive enzymes into the prey, this enzyme will melt the inside of the prey, then the spider sucks it.
Using pedipalpus and chelicerae to destroy its prey with the help of digestive enzymes, then swallow prey that has become like mush.
Some spiders need to strangle their prey to death with their saring nets because the poison glands have disappeared by the evolutionary process. In addition, if the spider changes its mind and does not want to eat the prey that has been killed, the spider will form a silk cocoon to store it, in order to be eaten later.
