Ever been in the dark? I'm not sure about others but for me, I don't like it.
Just the idea of opening and closing my eyes and still see same thing, darkness! -makes me shiver.
Moana, from the movie -Moana by Walt Disney, encountered a bioluminescence creature. It seems normal for life down there to recreate aquatic animal that has lights in their body to help them through life as they live in total darkness.
That probably is the scene in the part of the ocean where sun light can no longer reach whatever is in there.
Random diver and expert says should you dare, you will still see light, but only a dot of it. It floats and goes around you.
Sounds sweet and calm. BUt it was actually a trick.
Trick made by an Angler Fish. A bioluminescence creature.
It is an ability to produce light. While human body can grow mails and produce earwax, this particular fish can create light despite dark environment.
Their body can produce light like a glow in the dark toy.
Little some people know is that light for rare, insects and small animals are very impirtant. Not just becasue for their sight but for living in general.
Firefly for example, has green light that attracts attention to another fry fly to mate which can cause reproduction of their kind.
The Railroad worm in nature has 2 light colors in their body, green and red light. Such colors were not given to them for no reason. Since they were small, railroad light looks to predators made the uninterested which keeps them safe.
An eyes shrimp has lights in thier body too. It lights up their way and sends karma to a predator that wrong them. Once you've been hit by this shrimp, the more bigger creature ion the depth of the ocean sees you, you'll be eaten in return. So do not play dirty with them.
For human, bioluminescence can be of help in terms of, having its advantage for many benefits. How about a plant that lights indoor and outdoor.
Imagine a stuff that glows without the need of electricity. Saves us human money and energy sources.
