Is an urban zoological garden located in the city of Maracay, State Aragua, Venezuela, has native species of the region of the mountain range and the rest of Venezuela.
The flora consists of fruit trees and other vegetation, including guava, mango, Flor de la Reina, mahogany, jabillo, cardones, medlar, yagrumo, trinitarias, jasmine from India, apamates, uveros de playa, and verras.
Some of the animal species include a hybrid bear (Ursus thibetanus with Tremarctos ornatus), orinoco crocodiles, ounces, panthers, cunaguaros, havana hawks, hawks, dozens of morrocoy turtles cohabiting with several dwarf goats, chickens and quail.
The photo shows an Orinoco crocodile, in 2005 two alligators from the coast were taken from the zoo of Las Delicias and released in the Wildlife Refuge Ciénaga de Los Olivitos, Zulia State in favor of the conservation of this crocodile species.
