Boldly creating the greatness we dream of

If we want to change the world, we may want to save the energy of complaining about what is wrong today, and instead boldly create the greatness we dream of.

To oppose what already exists is generally a useless method for improving anything. Experience has demonstrated the hard way how the way of opposition consistently perpetuates the very same thing it opposes. Giving rise to its own shadow. Continuing the pattern it wants to escape. While time and energy and life is wasted in the process. The problem with complaining is that it simply does not work. We only have one life. We cannot afford wasting it.

Another path seems far more promising : To use all energy on building something far better than what exists today. Keep improving until it works consistently and brilliantly. Show the success openly to the world.

If the new system actually turns out to work better than the old system, some people will see it and get inspired and begin replicating it. If they also make it work far better than what was before, more people will see it and get inspired and begin replicating them. And if the new way truly eclipses anything seen before over time, the established institutions will be forced to follow along or be left behind.

All of this is especially relevant today as we are living through a radical technological revolution in history opening up a world of new possibilities.

Now imagine some creative people beginning to build a micro economy with a currency called Steem. They expand it to work for many different purposes. They build rich features and improvements and developments. They share ideas and experiences and insights during the process. They keep learning. They keep evolving. They organize awesome projects. Events. Spectacular multimedia content. Until they have something so amazingly awesome that the world has never seen anything like it.

A possible story of human glory.

Agreed! Freedom springs from ideas. Most of us attracted to this new social-economic platform have a belief in a better way to organize human life.
