I think many people are supporting this socialist ideas because, apart from ignorance, there's a widespread "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" mentality, which is another of the tricks used by the system to ensnare us. People are being led to believe that all these engineered economic crises, all these wars, etc. are the result of a "free market" type of system (uhm, this isn't the free market...), therefore the solution is "good" socialsim or communism etc. Likewise for people who claim they're against, for instance, "globalism" and "internationalism" so the solution is authoritarian nationalism....these are all false dychotomies created to divide and rule the people, and they led to the same disastrous results. By the way, just see who financed and backed up the Soviet revolution and you'll understand how this game is really palyed...

P.S.: the Soviet constitution is creepingly similar to the Italian (my "country") constitution...

I'm just old enough to remember the stories coming out of the USSR before it fell. The utter poverty, nothing on grocery stores shelves, the thought police, etc. We now have an entire generation that is being spoon feed this socialist nonsense and it makes me sick.

Larken,

Self-professed socialist individuals outside the default psycopathy of those implementing the Luciferian Globalist Agenda either enter into a sociopathic relationship with state, or maintain an unconscious relationship with state by default of their choice to avoid a valid philosophy.

In my opinion, Ayn Rand best described what a valid philosophy is by encompassing the process of elimination in her statement, "no valid philosophy can't be practiced to the nth degree". Any philosophy that can't be practiced to the nth degree is "invalid". By Rand's benchmark altruism practiced to the nth degree results in death.

Socialism is built upon the invalid philosophy of altruism (the philosophy of death) and as there are no selfless acts the implementation of socialism requires coercion, extortion and the synergistic progression of aggression(s) culminating in mass oppression and death. Therefore the objective of the psychopathic sector that implements socialism is mass oppression and death.

The psychopathic are incapable of empathy, the sociopathic enjoy their monetary payment for their transactions in maintaining what they know is wrong but take comfort in faith that they will run out the clock and die before they are held accountable.

In contrast the unconscious "falling for the sales pitch" are in the present status quo mostly responding to economic choice (or lack of choice) and diminished opportunity to survive on their own true competence. The Welfare State (socialism) makes the greatest noise to attract them, and the sociopathic sector is almost entirely comprised of family and friends whom advocate their inclusion.

Without a valid philosophy the unconscious are by default intolerant of the nature of life to judge and be prepared to be judged. From the cradle to the grave they seek inclusion through conformity. Virtue to them is defined by superior numbers. Collectivism practiced to the nth degree is the Luciferian Globalist Agenda, whether the unconscious ever awaken to see it or not. This devolution from natural law isn't possible in coexistence with valid philosophy. It requires invalid philosophy.

The unconscious without a valid philosophy will continue to act in faith constructed per statist indoctrination progression of patriotism-statism-obedience-dependence. A conscious person knows this is not a chain of freedom. A sociopathic person knows what's wrong but chooses to do it anyway. An unconscious person does what they are told or what is easiest.

And then there is me. I reject faith in all forms. Faith in science is not science. I reject the minarchism popularized and practiced by Rand. I accept Aristotleanism components that do not require faith. I maintain only voluntary relationships, with strict adherence to the non-aggression principle. I am no-thing. I simply am.

Thank you for all you do.

I have a FB "friend" who is advocating socialism. He has absolutely ZERO understanding of it. It is ironic how anarchists are accused of being deluded and believing in "utopia," but as Larkin points out, socialism is the true utopian nightmare.

rickcwood,

The mass delusion is resting on a foundation of cognitive dissonance. I remember Eckhart Tolle said "knowing the truth doesn't matter, only the truth matters". You can only speak to whatever consciousness is present in another person during the present moment. There is never dialogue (flow of meaning) between ego and true self because true self arises as ego dies. If you challenge ego you risk knee-jerk reaction of fear and hostility for your effort. In "zero type" situations like you've pointed out, perhaps the best you can do is perform the attentive listener role and wait, watch and listen for true self to arise.

Of course I don't advocate time investment indiscriminately. I have come to accept that there is no such thing as friendship, there are only the ties that bind. Often when someone calls me a friend they are attempting a tie of guilt and entitlement mentality, and I am not bound despite their later attempts to exercise such ties. If you experience uncomfortable emotion when being assertive with people perhaps remembering this bit of wisdom will help:

"Holding a person accountable is an act of respect, as surely as vengeance is an act of justice."

I don't know if the preceding quote is attributable to any specific individual. I've shared it for so long that it seems common sense. It must be common sense if most of the human population rejects it.

Those whom initiate aggression are staring into the same end times, and even the least conscious are finding the pain caustic to their ego mis-identification. These are very frightening times for them and you could be wise to expect some very hostile behavior manifest when their ego thrashes in finality. There is no separateness, however love does not imply pacifism. Use your consciousness to construct superior strategies to survive. Distance is one of the best. All credit due to Eckhart Tolle.

Enjoy your day.

Well, the ones leading the masses to their doom know, and they care very much! Now, don't you feel better?
Me neither.

Yes, but that Kool Aid, just sounds so tasty and healthy.

I support abundancism with stigmerism - freeing Our natural stigmergy to allow Ethical solutions to emerge...

[Definition of stigmergy: a system of governance based on the exchange of information, within all societies in nature, between autonomous Individuals.]

So why? because communism isn't good enough answer. Thats pretty much what I got from this video.

If you're asking why socialism devolves into violence so often, here is a fairly thorough explanation. (You can scroll down to "Communism's Soul" and start there, if you want.)

Socialism is self-contradictory. You do not believe in property, which means you do not believe you own yourself, but the state owns everything, which is fine if you like the rattle of your chains. The problem starts when you want to force everyone to being a slave to this narrow-minded worldview that ended in tragedy every single time we tried it. Communism is just a ridiculous utopia that ignores biology, psychology, sociology or any logic known to human race.

Hi. This is not intended as spam. Your post was one of the direct inspirations for this post.

My response to Larken Rose and Adam Kokesh after years of watching them and seeing their Anarchast Debate...

EDIT: I resteemed your post and shared it on the #informationwar discord server before I wrote my post.

Most supporters of Socialism view the world through rose colored glasses. They only see the positive, while filtering out the negative. Willful ignorance would be an appropriate description. "That wasn't real Socialism.", but you can never nail them down on why it wasn't and why the next time will be any different.
