Misdirection - the magic wand to fool you time and again. Here: Syria chemical weapons attack

in #anarchy7 years ago (edited)

Misdirection ... the same method stage magicians use to pull off their stunning tricks, is the preferred tool of those who want to agitate you to hate and support mass murder.
How does this work in the current Syria context? Just as it worked everywhere else:

1. declare a treshold the target can not fully control,
alternatively, make an impossible demand (for instance: demand disarmament a type of a weapon the target doesn't even posses)

2. pretend the treshold issue is of the utmost importance

3. make sure the treshold is being crossed
(for instance, either by using your own troops to stage a false-flag attack, or by using enemy field commanders who are your assets - double agents - or by corrupting the communications, loyal field commanders have with HQ)

In the current gameplan you have been successfully misdirected, if you believe the use of chemical weapons makes a qualitative difference. It doesn't.

There is no qualitative difference between murdering by explosives or by projectiles, or by chemical agents. The result is the same: scores of people die, even more people will suffer horribly, and huge numbers of survivors will be crippled for life.
The action of how a chemical weapon achieves this is different from the action of an explosive or projectile, but after the action people are dead, maimed, wounded, suffering and or crippled for life, no matter what the munition was.

The state-cadres on all sides, criminals, are perfectly happy with ripping people, fighters and local populations of all ages and genders apart by bombs, setting them on fire with incendiary munitions, shooting up their bodies with all kinds of projectiles. Does anyone seriously believe any of the political players involved gives a rat’s behind for whatever difference a chemical weapon makes? Only as far as it has the ability to make them lose the fight. That’s the key to understanding this.

So what is really going on here? Well, if you look on the map, you can see that Assad's troups, supported by the Russians and Iranians have been utterly defeated in Douma and are facing extinction, as prisoners are only taken temporarily to extract information, and are then discarded.

The idea behind the escalation is to create conditions that will at the very least allow those anti-Assad fighters still holed up in Douma to escape. Obviously, that is not what Assad and Putin want. So, hey, let’s escalate, let’s violate Lebanese airspace (a concept state-douches claim to consider important) to bomb Syrian airfields, let’s get into a twitter tirade and give interviews fueling the flames.

Why does any of this matter? Well, the US empire and it’s lapdogs / allies, has beaten the Russian empire and their lapdogs almost everywhere on the planet, they even still control what is important to them in Afghanistan. Militarily and politically Russians are with their backs to the wall, they can move that wall back, but only so much (give up on Syria, Ukraine and Iran ... end of the stick), but what would be the point?

Like the US state-cadres, Russian lovers of state violence are quite happy that there still are places like Syria, where the empires can clash, without burning down each others capitals. So for Putin and his circle of mafiosi the point where they need to commit to a “final stand” comes closer, and of course the US mafiosi are pushing that decision as much as they can, for they are convinced that they can “win” a nuclear war with Russia. They know, nukes only create long term fallout and contamination when detonated on or below the ground, so an airburst nuclear war to them is not such a bad thing. Get into the bunker, sit it out, slap your back and feel like Julius Ceasar, that’s basically the idea. Screw the millions who will die and suffer, they should be happy they weren’t hit by chemical weapons, right?!

Don’t fall for this misdirection, don’t let yourself get agitated for any side fighting this war. The only innocent people in this are the children who had the bad fortune of being born in Syria ...
