Video of Our Feed The Need Campaign Where We Fed 300 Meals To Homeless People Downtown At Risk Of Arrest Or Fine

in #anarchy8 years ago

The Garden of Eden vortex overflows with abundance, and it is our duty and privilege to share with our fellow brothers and sisters

On 9/11/16, the GOE donated our resources to feed the homeless in downtown Fort Worth. Twelve of our Eden Knights donated hundreds of dollars worth of food  and 42.5 man hours to harvest, prepare, deliver, serve, and clean up 300 meals. We shared hot food as well as prepackaged snacks and reusable water bottles. Our efforts were well received, and for an afternoon we shared loving presence with often overlooked members of society.

Not included in our prep and execution calculations of our single day's operation was the fundraising that made it possible. We offer healthy, sustainable goods and services as gifts to the donors who support our mission of feeding, clothing, housing, and educating more people than ever before. Investing in one's own health and wellness can be a mutually beneficial exchange that helps us build a better planet for ALL!

This is a video from the event:

Our outreach was also an act of civil disobedience. In these parts, there are prohibitions against feeding a group people without first obtaining licenses and procuring equipment--costly steps that deter expressing the natural compassion that unites man to man. We do not comply with systems we find dishonorable, instead we take action in accordance with our ideals so as to be an example of a better world rather than comply or complain.

The political system has obviously been broken for decades. The only real way to vote is with your dollars. For the cost of a single fighter jet funded with taxpayer money, the government could feed, clothe, house, and educate homeless people for a year. Every time you buy something from corporations, you are supporting the global military industrial complex. Choose wisely where you spend or invest your money.

Our small group of dedicated individuals IS the change we want to see in the world!

This is so very beautiful! I have done this in Dallas a time or two myself. Bless you all for the hard work you all do and the amazing example you are setting for our young people! Upvoted and shared my friend!

Thank you for showing that it can be done! Living with purpose is a valuable way to live. I am IMMENSELY grateful for everything I've learned from the Garden of Eden and Quinn Eaker!

For people don't get out of their daily routine to help someone else in need, we can help! Just by pushing one little button from the comfort of your couch you can help us raise the funds to take care of our fellow beings. We will freely donate our time and energy to procure the food, prepare it, pack it, transport it, unload it, serve it, touch a few souls, and clean up after it. We will even take the risk of standing up to the "authorities" for such an act of civil disobedience. Supporting those who support others helps us all. Thank you Quinn for showing there is a better way.

Everyone can help in their individual way!

Nah, nah, nah, nah. Silly legal system. We can share our food with anyone we want. Eating and sharing is a God given right. The system does not own it. The only thing the system owns is what we give it. I simply love giving away food with Quinn Eaker and the Garden of Eden. So much fun!

Thank you for setting a wonderful example for others to follow. It is almost unbelievable that places have begun to make homelessness illegal, then have followed with feeding the homeless! I explained this to my grandparents and they did not believe me. Thank you. I cannot thank you enough!

Thank YOU for your support! We are here to inspire and to PROVE that a better way is possible--it REALLY IS possible!! Everyone has the choice to live by VALUES, rather than arbitrary mandates that limit humanity.

Living by a moral standing rather than by fear of repercussion through the use of violence. Act consciously. We are each responsible for every one of our individual actions.

This is what I try to teach to others.

Its beautiful to see an intentional community focused on those ideals.

Yes, responsibility is key, along with accountability. Each person has to act with integrity in order for values to be maintained!

If you haven't yet, you should check out @kennyskitchen when you get a moment. He does some things very similar to you all, but he is a traveler that does it across the country.

Awesome, thanks for sharing! We're excited to see other people living commitment to a greater good. We LOVE sharing food, yet it is only the tip of the iceberg for what profound truths are lived at the Garden of Eden. Quinn Eaker is also a master sustainability, relationships, health, parenting, the mind and spirit, and the law, and we're excited to steadily share the many upgraded facets of existence we have found!

As it seems to be with the pioneers of our communities! Keep learning and sharing the knowledge so the future may become more wise than we can achieve.

If and when your lives get played back to you it will be one beautiful movie to see; all the good you've done and love you've spread. Give thanks!
