Federal voting, I agree with you.
Except where a libertarian is on the ballot.
Not voting on local issues is a yes vote for every tax that you don't vote no on.
Many local taxes are very close.
If people didn't vote, weed would still be a felony here, instead of a nearly free for all medical access.
When freedom is an option, vote for it.
Short of violently installing our 'new regime' voting is the only way to change things.

On my ballot I get to vote no on all the supreme court judges.
I get to vote out the current local judges.

Not voting makes violent revolution more likely, imo.
If not voting changed things, they would make it illegal.
When we are living in anarchy, voting is how things get done without stepping on other folks' toes.
