This is great! I don't have kids, but I can certainly see where this would be a good starting list for anyone who does.

I think I actually DO know of more books, but I'm drawing a blank right now. I'll have to look into it a bit and get back to you.

Actually, these books are pretty good reads for adults, too. Several of them, I read and enjoyed as a child, and now have passed them on to my daughter. But Red Scarf Girl, Soft Rain, and The Adventures of Jonathan Gullible were books I read for the first time as an adult with a family of my own. And they're pretty good reads. Especially Red Scarf Girl.

Definitely do get back to me when you think of more books. I'm always looking for more to introduce to my girl. :)
