We are not able to control the situation that some people are born taller than others. However as evolved intelligent creatures, we should be able to control the fact that the 62 richest people in the world (people not countries) own over 50% of the world's wealth. Cheers

I don't see a problem with "income disparity". The thing poisoning the well is government. If these people gained this wealth by providing a valuable service or product on the market, they have made everyone's life better. If they gained this wealth through being a government pet and subsidies and so on, than it is unjust. But to demonize all of the wealthy is a fallacy.
To "control" wealth through redistribution requires men with guns to go to other people's property and take their things so as to give to someone else. It's gouging out one eye from someone with two to give to someone that has none. It is inherently violent and it's an aspect many people don't want to talk about when they talk about making things "fair".
