There hasn't been a government in history that has helped its people. Governments are destructive and have no place in society. You are basically centralizing power to a group of small people. The problem came into the United States when the people basically handed over their rights to the Government. We are working backwards. But, it all starts with education. Children today are being taught to believe in the state. So it is up to the parents to either remove that child from school or teach them the correct values.
