If you haven't been following the news recently, Milwaukee called up its National Guard after violent protests broke out stemming from the police shooting of an "armed" suspect, Sylville Smith. I quote armed because I have not seen the body camera footage showing Smith with a gun. I believe the footage will show that he did have a gun, but did he aim it or fire it at police? Should your life be forfeit if you only have a gun, not using it to violate someone's rights?
What started everything
Smith, and an associate, were pulled over for "suspicious activity". Now, as an anarchist, I think the police should never have made the stop (unless there is a victim then there is no crime and no reason to stop anyone). After being pulled over Smith and his associate took off running (not a crime), a police chase ensued, and at some point Smith allegedly pulled out a gun out which got him killed after an officer told him to drop the gun twice. Does it matter to you if Smith was only holding a gun or if he aimed it at the officer?
By law, this will be deemed a good shoot and people will move on missing the real issue. As I have written previously that police are no longer peace keepers and have become revenue generators for the state.
Police have stated that Smith had a "lengthy arrest record". Smith had been arrested several times over the years but he had only been convicted ONCE with a misdemeanor conviction for carrying a concealed weapon in July 2014. All other cases against him were dropped (innocent until proven guilty?). The gun found on scene had been reported stolen back in March 2016.
Did Smith steal it or only purchase a stolen weapon? If you knowingly accept a stolen weapon, after the fact, is that a violation of someone's rights? If you believe in the Second Amendment then you should agree he has the right to bear arms (shall not be infringed) and should not have been shot for holding a gun. The officer did not know the gun was stolen, if there were victims that needed to be helped, or why Smith was running.
Based on all of the evidence there is still no victim unless you view Smith as a victim. Granted we all know having a gun in hand when police are chasing you is highly risky with a very good chance of being shot, so sympathy might not be there for you. This is why we should be focusing on rights and the truth when discussing situations like this.
Shooting response
After the shooting several violent protests broke out with at least four businesses burnt to the ground and some targeting random individuals who were white. This is barbarism, racism, and bigotry and should be condemned by everyone at every level. How does attacking innocent people, regardless of skin color, help anything? It does not and any movement that focuses on it will lose. If you are going to target someone at least do it to those you have a problem with, the government (don't target the government - they kill for less). Actions targeting the innocent are no better than the police's actions when they violate rights.
Protest response
After protests got out of hand Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker activated the National Guard to help police if violent protests continued. The National Guard has murdered protesters before and should only be called upon as a last resort. The National Guard mobilization to help with protests is legal under the Constitution, Article 1 Section 8, "To provide for calling forth the Militia to execute the Laws of the Union, suppress Insurrections and repel Invasions". Are the police not able to handle the situation? After only a single night Governor Walker needed to declare a state of emergency and call up the National Guard? Do you feel that you are living in a police state? Do you think calling in the National Guard is an appropriate response?
Conclusion
As with any situation we must leave our bias at the door and focus on fixing our grammar and logic so we can provide the best rhetoric possible. Not the media's, or government's rhetoric, but rhetoric that comes from truth and facts. If the government didn't enact hundreds of laws every biennium that violated your rights, and if police were actual peace keepers, trained to deescalate situations, this incident would never be occurring. If... if... if...
P.S. Remember when the Pentagon announced, three weeks ago, that they lost $6.5 trillion? Domestic terrorism this time?
I wrote about this an hour ago, the police were able to handle the situation, so they did not call the national guard! The governor did earlier from the night before just incase things really got out of hand and the police couldnt deal with it. Hers a link. Great post by the way!

@karenmckersie Fair point. I mixed up activated and called in at the end. After one night though was it necessary to even announce that it was going to happen? To me it speaks volumes of the government. A protest breaks out after another killing, justified or not, and instead of attempting to deescalate anything it is announced that they would be bringing in the National Guard. I see all of this spinning out of control and the government will use this to hide the fact that the Pentagon lost $6.5 trillion. Even without hiding it most for some reason do not care. Taxation is theft.
Thank you for posting this and bringing attention to this.
The situation in the US is becoming increasingly worrying. There seems to be an event of fear based nature every week, and with the military moving heavy arms around the country, and through the states, you really have to sense that some greater agenda is brewing.
@spartanza Look no further than our government for the source. View everything like a game board. Risk with monopoly. They control the media. They control our education. There is a greater agenda brewing and it is the elimination of our freedoms and rights. Thanks!
Racial labels are being used to make the MSM propaganda work according with the agenda for this summer of chaos. Sunday was the second day of rioting and the entire thing already smells rat.
Different news outlets controlled and owned by the same criminals have been reporting about this incident and I have noticed many inconsistencies in the reports, for example, "The victim of a house burglary reported 500 rounds of ammunition were also stolen with the handgun," police said in a statement, and the same gun with exactly the 500 rounds were confiscated by the officers implicated in the shooting. hum, what a coincidence don't you think? On the other hand the racial direction that this is taking from the first 2 hours after the shooting seems to me like something that was already planned in advance and the provocateurs were ready and organized to start the riots. Black Power here sounds more like Soros Power, who knows, maybe in politics nothing is planned and everything happens randomly. Lol.
Thanks for reading.
Many things are planned but life is random. Look at the Army. They have plans for everything. Aliens, zombies, etc. The government only needs to wait for an issue to happen and then exploit it, which causes more issues later that they can exploit.
hi this good this what compartire pots in major jewelry :)
