You are so right. The vast majority of people have lost touch with reality and that tragedy can be laid directly at the foot of government. Government wants people distracted and confused. On the farm, you put a bucket of molasses covered oats in front of the cow. Only then, while she is distracted by the "cow candy," can you milk her. Humans are no different. Engineered distraction, confusion and conflict keep us divided and conquered as the government consumes us. The vast majority don't know this and neither do they care.
Sadly, I doubt that this is going to turn around peacefully, that is die, with a whimper. I don't think there will be a revolution either. At some point, the people will become so dumbed down that the system will no longer work, or some natural tragedy will strip them of their electronic virtual reality and comfortable infrastructure and they'll be forced to band together to survive. What of us who know what's happening? Best to learn survival skills and then stand back as the lemmings run off the cliff. Then we survivors can rebuild a much better world. Spreading this information is about all we can do until then.
I also have a zombie related post coming up in a few days. Follow me and you'll have a better chance of seeing it as it goes whizzing by in this Steemit jetstream of information.
Love your GIFS by the way. Steem on.

Haha, I like to put some humor in such a somber world. thank you! Already following! :) I am a bit more optimistic though. When you look at businesses like uber, Airbnb or even bitcoin, I feel like there's some sort of growing awakening about what's really going on. I don't think there will be a revolution either--mostly because those who would start it know that the media will undermine them and spread false info and those who will watch won't believe what they say, but it will take a slower pace through things like the spread of cryptocurrency or those non state like businesses like uber. Looking forward to reading your other posts!
