528 Hz comes from the Solfeggio tuning scale where each note corresponds to a human energy center, 528 Hz being the heart. This is the original musical scale used by ancient cultures who were in tune with nature, and even the original Gregorian monks which was eventually banned because the effects it has on uplifting human consciousness was too powerful. I work with this scale and the frequency of 528Hz because it resonates with me personally. I know many people who have found powerful healing through the use of 432 Hz as well.

The real point is to get away from the standard tuning of A=440Hz (whether you go down to 432Hz or up to 444Hz) because the standard tuning used today is specifically used to cause stress, anger and disharmony in the human being.
