I join steemit some couple of months now, i have been making posts and steemians are not voting me. So i keep on asking myself on how to establish myself,how to be popular like you.
It takes time... but, the key is to develop relationships with others for starters. The other part is to write about what is your passion! Look at the new and tending area if you aren't sure... When you do get comments reply to the comments! Plus upvote those comments! I also suggest you follow the top witnesses... see what they are doing! One more thing to check out is this... https://bitcoinbully.io/668055993 It has some good training in it for Steem and how to use it. I am not one to normally promote this way... if it helps you grow then that is worth it!
I think you are looking at this the wrong way... are you providing value in your writing? Are you engaging in those that are commenting? It is not about how you are saying it... it is if you are saying anything that people are interested in talking / hearing about. This is all about perspective and opinion... my opinion on how to do something is different than the opinion of someone else. In many cases... both opinions can be correct! :)
