Checking In

Hello everyone!

I hope you're having a pleasant holiday and not taking the family for granted. This year our family of five had our first Christmas mostly alone. We visited the mother in law on Christmas Eve real quick but not too much real celebration Going on over there.

It was a nice time but my wife and I agreed that it felt a little strange. Today we were both missing Christmas in the US and we also agreed that if we were in the US we would be missing German Christmas.

Anyway, I wanted to let you guys know after the holiday I am going to continue with the audiobook. I am recording it for my children because of anything ever happens to me I want them to be able to hear their Papa read them a story.

Also, if you receive auto votes from me I have limited it to once a day while I recover some voting power after all the Christmas posts. I wasn't able to vote 100% on as many posts as I would like to so if you notice that's why.

Hope everyone is doing well! I'm just over here working on my winter beard! Happy New year!

Howdy sir badger! wow man, that is SOME beard. I'm jealous. or at least envious! lol. I think it's a perfect German look!

Haha well, thanks sir @janton! Trimmed the mustache today, Mrs. Badger was really sick of it and honestly so was I! It was hard to eat everything got all over it.

Ha! howdy today sir badger! yes I know, I see the photos of the guys I have in most of my posts and they have the huge mustaches that go down and meet their beards and I'm thinking..how in the world do they eat anything in a civilized manner? lol.
So that's a smart and practical move on your part!
