An American tourist was been killed by an Indian tribe after he traveled onto their island home.
Yes it was stupid. The kid shouldn't have been there but the response from the media is interesting and confusing.
I am so confused by modern media because first I thought that borders don’t matter. Also isn’t this tribal toxic masculinity and the patriarchy at the finest? Shouldn’t we be going on the ground to virtue signal about how they are not taking a gender neutral approach to raising their children?
I was thinking about this. Really it’s a weird dilemma and I completely understand why in western society we think its appropriate to leave these tribes alone and not mess with them. I kind of support it for the most part but I’m not sure how I feel about toddlers getting eaten by pythons or people not having the advantage of western medicine. Though I think the west is the best civilization on earth right now I respect the idea of leaving these people a lone. What I cant respect is the hypocrisy of the media.
