AMD Ryzen and VEGA. Team red is finally back.

I have admitedlly been a AMD fanboy since back in the day of the old Athlons and my first computer was an Alienware Area 51 (Pre Dell) rocking and AMD Athlon 64 processor with an ATI Radeon (pre Radeon HD) graphics card. And it was beast when I bought it and remained competent until I built my first system using the Dragon platform. Now, its been over 10 years since the Dragon platform, and although I have built several pc builds since, nothing has filled me with the joy my fanboy heart has desired since. Scorpio was half hearted, Bulldozer turned out to be a huge disappointment, but at last, it seems like we finally have something to celebrate on team red.

My most recent build, which i used for 3D content creation, video editing and gaming died a while back due to a bad motherboard, and I have been stubbornly waiting for AMD to do something about its lineup. I did not feel like buying and Intel setup. I did not feel like using nVidia graphics, although not as strongly as my dismissal of Intel processors. What hurt the most is that I actually had to stop my channel as video editing on my AMD A10 laptop was simply too infuriating to bear.

Looks like its time to dust off the old pc case and dig into my wallet to finally build what i have been waiting over ten years to build. Looks like its out with my old 990FX motherboard and in with the new X370. Out with DDR3 and in with the DDR4. Really hyped about building this. But its going to be expensive. Im still thinking about how to pay for all of it. Im sure Ill manage though. Any suggestions will be welcomed. I am currently waiting to see which retailers will offer the Radeon packs. I could use with the board and CPU discounts since i am building a full system. We will see. I will keep you posted.
