Recently I came across a thought what we will be doing 10 years from now and how the shopping experience will be and what will be purchased online?

Going back 10 years, there was no insight about how the technology will change the entire shopping experiences. I did some research about what big online giants like Amazon are thinking about how future shopping experiences will be and what one can buy from Amazon by 2028.

Amazon found its way into just about every part of our budgets. Once an online bookstore, this tech giant has changed shopping as we know it, from gadgets to entertainment to - with its $13.7 billion purchase of Whole Foods grocery store.

They are going to build a world that you can enter into with Virtual Reality(VR) to not just buy things but have virtual experiences. The retail experience in VR will be both tactile and sensory-rich. You are going to pay for a 20-minute ride on top of Everest or to surf a 50-foot wave one day. They are also going to build VR experience to do test drives without even visiting a car showroom. Isn't it cool???

I also came to know that all the reward points that are right now earned after every shopping trip will then be in the form of their own cryptocurrency. Yes, Amazon will be having their own cryptocurrency.

The whole BOT marketplace is going to change dramatically and is going to be dominated by Amazon in 2028. Both A.I and robots that would potentially provide everything from entertainment to elder care. Androids will be taking care of you in restaurants. Amazon calls this revolution as a "Synthetic Humans". There will entirely different kind of artificial robotic species around everyone's day-to-day life.

I also think they are also working on Wearable Technology like where we can live without keys and without cash or cellphones. There will be a dramatic change in how we live daily.

Amazon is also thinking loud on Prescription Drugs that could dramatically alter the drug market. The concept to precision level and more details are yet unknown.

They are also working on Much Smarter Televisions where you can work on your way very quickly more like a Alexa but for the smaller screen sizes.

In summary, I feel excited about where technology is going to take everyone..
